Spray Bar:

.

.

All spray nozzles are constructed of 304-stainless steel. All sprayers are mounted on adjustable ball and socket fittings (also constructed of stainless steel). These fitting will be connected to the pipe via stainless steel split eye connectors.

.

All nozzles, pipes, and other spray bar accessories must be installed by a certified technician other than those technicians requested by the customer  (employed by Arch) during commissioning.

.

Pump Assembly:

.

The pump assembly will consist of the pump, control box, pressure relief valve, two 3-way pneumatic valves, electronic and mechanical pressure indicators, check valves, thermal protection valve, and automated self-cleaning internal bypass filter system.

.

All instruments will be plumbed so they can be valved-out for service.

.

The pump is a 40HP pump with Baldor motor.

.

The control box is designed to accept an open/closed signal from the microwave truck indicator. When a truck is sensed, control box will open a 3-way valve to allow water to flow to the spray bar. Once the truck has left the hopper, the same 3-way valve will shut off flow to the spray bar and open flow to the recirc lines. The control box will be equipped with a single push button. This button will be used to drain the system via a second 3-way valve. The control box will also have a display for the pressure differential between the inlet and discharge pressure of the pump. There will also be a display for the system pressure just beyond the pressure relief valve.

.

All major water lines will be 3 or 4 inches in size constructed of steel, brass, bronze, or stainless steel. All flexible hose on the pump skid will be 3 inch.

.

There will be one 3” flexible hose supplied to run from the pump to the midpoint of the 60-foot long spray bar. This hose will be supplied in a length not greater than 50 feet. If a longer hose is required, pricing will vary.

.

All electrical connections to the Arch control boxes must be made in the field by a certified technician other than those technicians requested by the customer  (employed by Arch) during commissioning.

.

Filter System:

.

The self-cleaning filter will consist of two parallel 4” filters with 400 mesh stainless steel screens. There will also be in pre-wired with installed microprocessor included to control the self-cleaning aspect of this filter assembly. More details on this controller can be made available at the time purchase.

.

Control System:

.

The control system supplied by Arch will operate based on simple push button controls and switches along with signals from microwave transmitters supplied by the customer. In automatic mode, the pump will operate as normal via the AFD (supplied by other) and the microwave transmitters (supplied by other). The display on the Arch control box with show inlet pressure, differential pressure and actual line pressure be supplied to the spray bar. One the microwave transmitter emits a signal; the appropriate valves will open and/or close to allow water to flow to the spray bar. Once the signal is lost, the valves will again actuate to put the system in recirc mode.

.

There will be a push button installed for use when draining the system is required. The operation of this button will actuate the drain valve. This button will only be operational when the pump is not active.
